Prior to joining The Collaborative Firm in 2008, Ms. Redd utilized her professional expertise as Quality Assurance and Training Director for Air Serv Corporation, and as Community Affairs Director for CARE, USA. She has served on a number of boards and committees, and was also involved with the Metro Atlanta Corporate Volunteer Council for several years.
REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE
East Point Capital Improvement Program (CIP):
As the Firm’s public involvement coordinator for the East Point Capital Improvement Program, Ms. Redd developed and implemented a Communication/Public Relations Action Plan, including specific policies and processes for public involvement, public relations, and website development. The plan seeks to provide effective communications about the CIP to stakeholders, the City at large, affected neighborhoods, East Point City Council, and designated department heads. In addition to providing ongoing public outreach for the CIP, Ms. Redd serves as a liaison between the City’s CIP Team and area residents, ensuring adequate notification to property owners of construction projects that will affect their properties and neighborhoods.
Snapfinger Pole Bridge Creek Plant Expansion:
Extensively involved in public involvement efforts related to the expansion of the Snapfinger and Pole Bridge Creek Wastewater Treatment Plants in DeKalb County, Georgia.
Vine City/Washington Park Livable Centers Initiative:
Coordination of stakeholder participation efforts, including facilitating the public visioning process and assisting with public workshops to gather feedback which will shape the redevelopment plan for the Vine City and Washington Park communities within the City of Atlanta.
Community Affairs Director, CARE USA:
As the Community Affairs Director for CARE, USA, Ms. Redd was responsible for establishing and building relationships between the community and CARE, USA. In this role, she lead strategic collaborations with national and international staff benchmarking best practices, establishing goals and identifying key corporate and community relationships to support regional volunteer programs. She was responsible for the oversight of the community outreach efforts of CARE USA’s six national fundraising offices ensuring that holistic strategies, guidelines, processes, and measurement systems were executed. Ms Redd was a key member of CARE’s Diversity Leadership Committee and led diversity training workshops for national and international staff.
Quality Assurance and Training Director, Air Serv Corporation:
AirServ Corporation provides innovative and dependable solutions to the aviation industry. As the Director of Quality Assurance and Training, Ms. Redd was responsible for developing quality assurance policies and procedures and providing leadership for the implementation in airport operations in Atlanta. She led the training department for operations personnel and district managers where she developed curriculum and successfully facilitated continued growth and achievement of company objectives.
