As the lead consultant for the Meriwether
County Joint Comprehensive Plan 2008-2028
update, The Collaborative Firm, LLC designed
a process to produce a visionary document
that would serve as a guide for future
development.
Through the Community Assessment phase, a
thorough inventory and analysis of existing
conditions, including demographics, economic
factors, housing data, land use and
transportation studies, was conducted. In
addition to the technical analysis, an intense
Public Participation Plan was implemented in
order to ascertain key character areas and to
develop a community vision. This vision was
the guiding principle in composing the
Community Agenda, which will serve as a
County-tailored roadmap for development
over the next twenty years.
