Kathleen Field
Kathleen Field is a city planner with over thirty years experience in the field. As Senior Planning Consultant, Ms. Field oversees some of the Firm’s planning and community involvement projects
Professional Experience
Prior to joining The Collaborative Firm in 2009, Ms. Field served as the Community Development Director for the City of Roswell, GA. Previous to that, her experience included Planning Director for the Boston Housing Authority, Policy Director for the Lt. Governor of Rhode Island and the Planning Director for the City of Providence, RI.
Public Involvement
Midtown Roswell Livable Centers Initiative:
Oversight of Steering Committee (Redevelopment Task Force) which facilitated the public visioning process and developed the planning study for the corridor.
South Atlanta Street Livable Centers Initiative:
Oversight of community meetings and stakeholder involvement including visualization exercises.
Re-write of City’s Zoning Ordinance:
Worked with a citizen’s stakeholder Committee for two years to re-write entire zoning ordinance. Coordinated all public input pertaining to project.
Update of City of Roswell Comprehensive Plan:
Coordinated all community meetings and visioning exercises.
Mansell Road Charrette Exercise:
Organized and coordinated a community charrette with all important stakeholders in attendance to develop a vision for area.
