Ali Daftarian

A key member of The Collaborative Firm’s team of professionals, Ali Daftarian possesses valuable skills gained through professional experience, as well as significant knowledge of engineering principals obtained through his studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Throughout his hands-on professional experience, Ali has demonstrated strong practical skills in framing inspection, foundation inspection, application of building codes, GT Strudl, Auto CAD 2007, and MS Project.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining The Collaborative Firm in 2009, Mr. Daftarian served as an Assistant Project Engineer at DMD Engineering and Construction, Inc., where he was responsible for managing project teams, scheduling, monitoring project budgets, invoicing, quality control, and conducting progress review meetings with clients, as well as estimating cost for governmental and commercial projects within various metropolitan Atlanta counties. He also led foundation and framing inspection for new and existing construction.

Wastewater Treatment Plants

DeKalb County Snapfinger Pole Bridge Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion:
DeKalb County is currently expanding its Snapfinger Wastewater Treatment Plant from 36 million gallons per day (MGD) to 70 MGD, and the Pole Bridge Wastewater Treatment Plant from 20 MGD to 40 MGD. Mr. Daftarian is extensively involved in providing supportive engineering services for this project, including CAD design on structural drawings.
