Allan has over 30 years of experience in local government and the nonprofit sector including management positions in community development; city planning; business and economic development. Areas of experience and accomplishment include neighborhood redevelopment; community planning; organizational development; community engagement; marketing; and economic development projects. Fundraising experience includes grant writing and successfully securing local and federal grant funds. Also achieved success in leveraging nonprofit, government and private sector resources.

Economic Development Experience
Al has twenty years direct experience in economic development and small business entrepreneurship that resulted in generation of $330 million in public and private investment and over 1500 new jobs for the cities of North Port Florida and College Park Georgia. Directed fundraising efforts for GRASP Enterprises, a small business development organization that resulted in over $1.6 million in grants and other funding from 1999-2001. Experience includes:

City Planning Experience
Mr. Lane also has fifteen plus years in city planning that included planning positions with the cities of City Dayton Ohio and Atlanta Georgia. Managed the planning and implementation of urban renewal activities for Dayton’s west side [a $50 million undertaking] and development of urban design features for the Wright/Dunbar Historic District. Managed the urban design and land use section for the City of Atlanta’s Dept. of Planning and was lead staff person for the development and implementation of the Peachtree Street/ Auburn Avenue International Urban Design Competition. Also managed pre-Olympic planning for Atlanta’s neighborhoods. Experience includes:
